Friday

On friday we had a great family dinner with a big turkey at my grandma's. In the afternoon I went to take a walk in the city with my cousin. It was cold and nasty outside so we bought a coffee-to-go but we were still absolutely frozen. This is what I was wearing - it's the trench coat by H&M and Clara Barson ballerinas. Handbag - Gucci, tights - Gatta, sunglasses - my cousin's
My cousin is on the other hand more kinda disco thing. This is what she wore:

Enjoy the rest of your holidays!

One more post before Christmas comes

I said I won't post till about 25th but I can't help myself. I just have to give these blog awards:
This one goes to Mica, Aubrey and skg

This one goes to Miss Caitlin and Fashion Chalet

I wish you all very merry Christmas and a happy New Year (I always remember John Lennon's Happy X-Mas, which is one of my favourite Christmas songs along with All I Want For Christmas Is You from Mariah Carey)

RIP Brittany and many other things

Today I learned that actress Brittany Murphy passed away at the age of 32. I've never seen her act but I liked her and her style.
Yesterday it was about minus 15 degrees in Prague so I had to wear tights underneath jeans. I hate to do so, I always look tragically fat. I went to the nearest shopping centre and bought a red H&M trenchcoat and black suede ballerinas - no photos yet because I bought them as a Christmas present from my grandma who couldn't think what to give me so she gave me some money. And I'll naturally get these things on Christmas eve under the tree (haha we don't have it yet). Today I have a Christmas piano concert and I'm absolutely unprepared.
This is what we have instead of a traditional Christmas wreath:
Yesterday there was a children's play in our Church. I helped them by accompanying a little strings orchestra - I played the piano. People liked it.
In the evening I went to a concert of our friend's band (they don't play for public) in club Jazz Dock straight on the river. It was great, I danced although I can't dance.

At home I watched SuperStar final and my favourite singer Martin Chodúr won. Luckily, the other one was just a girls' idol who couldn't sing at all.
I probably won't post till 25.th so HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!

Exams, christmas balls, presents

Hello,
sorry for my lack of posts in the last days. We have early exams term at the school. Today I did Maths, Chemistry and Biology. This is probably the first time I have done a Maths exam without one single mistake!
I haven't written about the Thriller dance training yet. I thought I would go on sunday 6.th December but due to the school duties I had to visit the next one on friday. Although I came alone, it was really fun. We have a wonderful instructress and she explained the routines even to me, which I haven't expected.
I also reciever my first blog award from Trishiekoh. Thank you!

How are your Christmas Preparations? I've finally got some presentr for my friends and family. I also got some money from my grandma so I could buy something I really like but I just can't find anything! I wanted to buy some warm, long, woolen sweater but they're all so ugly! Then I saw a beautiful red trench coat at H&M. But I have lots of coats...
This is what I bought for my mother today. It's from a shop called Manufaktura. You can buy there handmade natural cosmetics, soaps, bathsalts, but also mugs, beads etc. And it's not even expensive. I love these shops that make me happy when I enter. The mix of all the smells makes me stay until I spend all my money - luckily I usually take only as much as I need.
Tomorrow I go to the Christmas ball held by my dance school. I'll be wearing these dress:

I bought the dress because of this details, otherwise it would be too simple.
I won't be able to visit all your blogs now, please forgive me. This is probably all I remember I wanted to write about now, so have a nice day :)

Christmas???

I'm really starting to feel ashamed about myself. I have almost NO Christmas presents for my family and friends. This year I decided to be very creative, which'll be great for my purse and a disaster for everyone who gets something from me. This year we also decided with my mother that we don't want any traditional Christmas wreath on the kitchen table, it only makes the place messy. So we took a simple glass base, put four little candles in different-coloured cups on it and added several shells and snail conkers. It's nothing special, but I like it. I'll upload a photo soon. This is a traditional czech Christmas wreath and I don't like it:
I found an old photo on facebook: it's from a party where I was drunk. A shame for me. But I did not drink any alcohol since this party and I'm not planning to do so for a long time. I want to hold an alcohol-free Christmas party for my friends, which will be a bit difficult for my schoolmates. I can't understand them: they think it's really cool and social to be drunk. So I still don't know whether to do it or not. But I love this photo:
Speaking about Christmas, there's a great Christmas giveaway on Made You Blush.
Go check it!

Thriller Dance Record

It's gonna be on August 28th in Prague, Czech republic and I'm gonna take part in it! We'll try to dance the Thriller choreography with most people ever - 15 000. Let's hope we manage it. On Sunday we go to the first training with my classmate. I'm sooo excited about it, although I can't dance very well. But most people in the "group" cannot, so I hope it doesn't matter.
Look here to see...

Monday :(

I really thought I wasn't gonna get up today, but that's my usual Monday-morning-feeling.
About the ball on Saturday night: It started at 7 p.m. and I left at 10. I don't think I could stay there any longer. I was a bit sick, headache, sorethroat and my back ached, I already thought it was swine-flu, but fortunately it wasn't. My friend, who finished her dance courses, was dancing all the time and I didn't know anybody there so I got a bit bored, luckily I brought my camera. It was all a little too puffy and shiny for me, but that belongs with these balls. I took a lot of photos, here are some:
my friend (left) and me in the bathroom before doing our make-up

my outfit (I apologize for the mess around me)

my outfit once more (it doesn't really look well on my friend's carpet - she said she wants to throw it away anyway)

Today we created our logos in the Arts class. I drew a shoe-shape with my name instead of the heel (no photo :( ) but didn't finish it yet. Maybe I could use it if I learned to make clothes and shoes and became a famous fashion designer, but that will never happen.
My cat was getting better but now something happened again (I highly suspect by little sister, she was there when it happened and she's very jealous when we cuddle with the cat) and she runs on three again...
Now I have to write an essay about Romeo and Juliet, I wish I could be so romantic like Bella Swan and like it...

HAPPY!

Today I'm gonna attend a great ball. My friend has finished her dance courses and she invited me to come and see! We were at the hairdresser's already and we're gonna take a lot of photos (maybe I'll show them here). She's got her hair combed up and curly and glittering and as I'm a little more conventional , I've just a pair of little curls. Finally I have somewhere to wear my lovely heels (I've posted about them before).
I'm also happy to see New Moon, although I was a bit disappointed. And my cat's leg isn't broken or dislocated, they found nothing in the X-ray. But she still runs on three legs.
But I'm still happy!

New Moon

Hello,
so I went to see New Moon on Thursday!
I still don't know whether I liked it or not, it's so difficult to decide...
The positives:

1)Jacob! I never thought I could ever like him, but he's just gorgeous, although I prefer when he DOES wear a T-shirt, which was not so often.
2)The relationship between Bella and Jacob
3)The werewolves fighting Laurent

4)Porsche turbo!!!

5)Watching Romeo and Juliet at the school

7)The movie Bella, Jacob and Mike went to see
8)The "cliffdiving" scene

The negatives:
1)Robert Pattinson looks like an anorectic boy :(
2)The vampires do not look scary beautiful but only scary (except Emmett and Jasper :))
3)Many scenes were too long and that's wrong because the actors are not THAT good
4)The songs (except the orchestral soundtrack)
5)The misty and awesome atmosphere of Twilight is mainly gone, it was all too brown
6)The werewolves look like Aslan from Chronicles of Narnia.
There's something about Twilight saga that appeals me and Ican't get rid of it :). I loved the details, but didn't really like the whole...
My rating: 5,5/10

Happy? Maybe tomorrow

Today I was sitting at the school, falling asleep and suddenly a thought came upon me. I said "that's strange, how happy I am these days, nothing seems to be screwing up!"
Really, today I bought New Moon tickets for me and my two best friends. On Saturday I went to theater to see a comedy called "The Collective Work of William Shakespeare in 120 minutes". I haven't laughed like this for a long time, it was much better than Shakespeare's original plays (we're going through it in the school so I'm getting mad of it)! Three middle-aged balding men performing Teletubbies-romance, Othello-rap or King Lear- hockey match with a crown instead of a hockey puck, it was awesome! And in the end, Hamlet backwards.
On Sunday one of our friends arranged a second-hand clothes sale - everyone brought things he didn't need or want anymore. Of course there was a great pile of utter rubish, but you could find great things if you tried. I got new jeans (Pepe jeans), sweater and coat (Zara), Chanel-like striped T-shirt (H&M naturally) and a corduroy jacket with no brand mark on it.
I feel like I've undone in quite badly when saying all was great. Today my cat got hurt. She fell from a great height when jumping from my brother's arms, which should be quite normal for her. But now it seems that her leg is broken *cry*. My mum took her to vet now.
Now I'm babysitting my little sister and longing for my lovely, soft bed. And hoping my cat will be OK.
