Messy Bun VS Ponytail

For this post I found inspiration at Trishie's Under Lock and Key
First she posted about ponytails and asked what do we make with our hair on a bad hair day. So many people - including me - wrote that they make a messy bun, that she posted about it too. And now I'm asking you: what do you prefer? I myself prefer a messy bun but I'd wear ponytails more if it looked good on me.

Hold on, please. You have to be patient with me. I've just arrived home from Germany where I could merely write e-mails to my family. But in a few days I'll be able to post again. I'll show you what all I managed to purchase for only 50 Euro (I finally managed to buy a summer dress :)). I have almost no income of mine because I'm just a student but when I'll be working, I'll be a total shopaholic.

Brandon Voss, who does the "Big Gay Following" column for The Advocate, sent me this excerpt from his latest column, a chat with Oscar winner Adrien Brody who did not at all like some of Brandon's questions and told him so!

Do guys still hit on you?
I guess I'd be disappointed if they didn't.
What if a man had presented you with your Oscar instead of Halle Berry? Were you so wrapped up in the moment that you might've have kissed him too?
That's a pretty silly question. No, obviously not. Part of the excitement was that it was a beautiful woman presenting me with such a beautiful moment in my life.

Something that would be a completely innocuous comment on my part will be completely taken out of context by the next journalist, so I'd appreciate it if you were understanding about that.

I'm still in a good mood, but I'm also a relatively serious person, so these questions are difficult for me.
So I guess I shouldn't ask if it's true what they say about a man with a prominent nose?

Keira Knightley and Emma Watson are two of my favourite actresses. Not just because of their stunning performances but also because of their style. Who the hell said British girls are boring?

I read some gossip about Kristen Stewart yesterday. It said that she hates Keira because she got the role in Wanted 2 instead of Kristen. And that Kristen said Keira is stupid, proud, can't act, is too skinny etc. etc. etc. I don't know if that's true but what I know is that Keira is much better as an actress,Kristen is the one who should take lessons (I know that if I'll have any comments on this, they'll be disaproving), Keira is very clever and yes, she's very skinny but I can't help myself, it looks good. And Kristen is very thin too. I hope with all my heart that Kristen has never said such things.

Hello my dear bloggers. I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I think I must look like I'm close to stop blogging. When I'm having my laziest mood, I think about it, but then I realize how much I need it. You guys don't know me and can write everything I want. Twenty years ago people would say it's weird to tell all the strangers my personal stuff. But I need it sometimes. I'm an occasional blogger.
Now I want to share a few photos from my trip to Berlin with friends.
We spent a lot of time in Pergamon museum and two galleries and though I love art, it was kinda too long. And the weather was so beautiful that we just wanted to walk around the city (and shops :)).
Right at the moment we arrived, me and my friend Anna went lost on the railway station because we didn't manage to get to the right tram :). The others had to wait for us on the next station.

Where can I find a perfect summer dress?

Although it's still cold in Prague, I'm starting to look for a new summer dress (probably floral, I'm in love with this pattern). It should look at least a bit like one of these but I'm sure I won't find anything like that so I'll probably finally have to learn how to sew.

About by preview post "Crazy About Alice In Wonderland" - my head's a bit cooler now and I must admit that you must either love that movie or you just say it's utter bullsh*t so let's give it 60 %. I've realized that the only two reasons why I loved it were the unspoken bond between Alice and the Hatter and (yes, I'm stupid) Alice's dresses. But I still love it.

Crazy About Alice In Wonderland

Hey guys, I've gone completely mad (again, how many times did I say it already?)!
First it's because of unhappy love (no need to say more, that's probably my excuse for the lack of posts lately...). Which is not just unhappy for me but for my best friend too. So we really enjoy breaking down together and then picking ourselves up with crazy activities and sports.
Second - and that saves me from total breakdown - is that I went to see Alice in Wonderland. Twice already. And I'm planning on seeing it again.
Despite all the great Tim Burton movies I've seen, I still don't know what to think about him. Well, I must admit that he's crazy. He's a dreamer. He's slightly weird. His imagination is amazing. Incredible. Awesome. He's a genius. But every genius is strange (I really did not like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory).
I did not know if I wanted to see Alice. I'd heard many reactions, some of them fascinated, but many people say that it was too much. Too colorful, that it was created to be a blockbuster with all those animations and battles and grown-up Alice and so on and so on. And that made me curious. Tim Burton's movies are never only positively or only negatively rated.
And another thing that made me curious was that I hated the Lewis Caroll's book as a kid. Then I forgot about my hatred and just thought that it was a bit strange. BUT...
The story of 19-year-old Alice Kingsleigh, who runs away following a white rabbit (wearing a waistcoat) after she's been proposed by a stupid lord Hamish, falls through a rabbit hole and gets into Underland, where she's supposed to save the creatures from the evil Red Queen's reign by killing the monster Jabberwocky on the Frabjous day just pulled me in and did not let go.
Wow. Since I left the cinema for the first time, I feel lighter, dreamier and stranger. I really LOVED it!
Of course, I always have some troubles with every movie. I didn't like Helena Bonham-Carter - the Red Queen's look (the big head... :/ ) and the Jabberwocky. But like I said. I've got problems everywhere.
On the other side, Wonderland (or Underland, if you want) was as perfect as possible.
So it doesn't matter that no creature was looking at least a bit realistic. So it doesn't matter that my head was spinning from all the colours.
Could a movie where you "meet" crazy Johnny Depp (Hatter), Helena Bonham-Carter, Alan Rickman and Anne Hathaway altogether be bad? Not to mention Mia Wasikowska. Why did they put her name in the credits after all the more famous actors( OK I've done it too but I wanted to say the best at last :))? Damn it, she was the main character and she was great!Colleen Atwood, the costume designer, has also done an awesome job. She is now one of my favourites along with Jacquelline Durran (Atonement, Pride & Prejudice) and Ngila Dickson (Lord of the Rings). But I can't find a picture of the tiny dress that Hatter made for Alice after stuffing her into a teapot. Does anybody have it? Please, give me the link. They were the BEST.
It was GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! (But I cried in the end... :))
By the way, Danny Elfman is totally ingenious, I can't get his music out of my head, but did you like the Avril Lavigne song at the credits? I DIDN'T.
